The next day, Valerie and Mike took us to a historic park called Prophetstown. It has a couple of old houses and a working farm. The great thing is that you can touch everything you see. The antiques are all hands-on, not under glass like in most places. The kids had a great time trying out the old toys and kitchen appliances in the house. We spent a couple of hours there and then headed back to the RV to get packed up for the leaving the next day. It was a 12 hour drive to our next stop, Niagara Falls.

A Visit in Indiana
When we left the camp in Ohio, we drove about 4 hours to visit Michael's sister Valerie in Indiana. She lives in Wolcott, Indiana, just north of Lafayette. We spent Saturday afternoon relaxing at her home and then she and her husband, Mike, took us to an auction nearby. We had so much fun. It was an estate auction so there was quite a variety of stuff. We ended up buying several things, probably more than we should have. Jeremiah got a cowboy hat and some neat model boats. Michael and Isaiah got some tools. I got some silver serving trays and dishes and Michaela got a fancy magnifier for looking at the butterflies she collects.
